Ten varieties of wheat, fighting diseases and disappointment in lentils — Belozerka 2030

During the AgroCaravan Harvest 2024, the Eldala.kz team found wheat that can claim the status of the best grain in the republic.
Despite prolonged rains, a two-week delay in harvesting and significant losses of lentils, farmers in the Kostanay region had to worry a lot this season. But this is an integral part of working on the land, and if you choose the right varieties and plant protection products, the chance of a good result is practically in your pocket.
We were told about this at Belozerka 2030 LLP, where we arrived on one of the days of the AgroCaravan. The farm operates near the village of Belozerka and processes more than 9 thousand hectares. The farm is headed by Artur Mikhailenko. The enterprise is part of the Sarybai group of companies. The range of crops here is wide: soft wheat, hard wheat, flax, sunflower, lentils, peas. But priority is still given to wheat.

It seems that the best quality of Kazakhstani wheat this season will be in the Kostanay region. But only for those farmers who managed to protect their crops from the risks of this season - pests and diseases caused by excess moisture in the fields.
