We are finally here everyone.
IN this video we show how to mount the CAE ultrashifter!
You'll need to have your selector rod mounted and all the previous preparations done, if you haven't, go watch those videos and learn! Here they are
We begin by showing you how to find center line using measuring tools. Once your center is all marked out, we find the perfect mounting place for the shifter itself ( the selector rod can be adjusted in case youre a little off) So don't worry. If you're using the stock selector rod, you have one shot, and even done perfectly, it wont compare to a shifter that has been dialed in using the CAE selector rod.
Once you have your perfect mounting point, youll use your transfer puncha nd mark your holes and drill the holes for your shifter.
With the holes drilled you can test fit your mounting plate, we had to trim ours to get it to fit. Ten you can mount your shifter onto the mounting plate and bolt it down. Now you're ready to continue with the next video and make adjustments to the shifter for supreme shifting performance.
Remember everyone, Fatboy's Garage videos are all free. We just ask that you purchase parts through our links. The following links are to all the parts described in the video. Thanks!!
