Lovely Slow Ruston Hornsby AP Stationary Engine
This is a 1923 5½ horsepower Ruston Hornsby Agricultural Paraffin engine. These engines were used to power agricultural machinery in the early part of the 20th century before mains electricity became widely available.
Designed to be started on petrol and run on paraffin. This one is uses a low tension magneto, with igniter. The 5½ AP weighs 535kg, excluding trailer.
