2006 Vw Passat won't start after replacing 2.0D TDI engine
My 2005 VW Passat won't start after replacing the 2.0D TDI engine. My search began when I checked the timing marks on this engine, and the crankshaft timing mark was offset by half a tooth. I corrected this using specialized equipment I purchased specifically for this car. The starter cranks, but the car won't start, and the dashboard lights are on. After I reset the timing marks, I connected the computer and discovered there was a single error, which I then fixed.
