The man took a piece of meat and bread and asked the mother dog who should eat the meat. The mother quickly stroked her puppy as if to say it should be for him. When he held the bread in his hand, the mother stood up to show that she would take the bread. But then the owner gave both pieces to the mother. She still gave the meat to her puppy.
