APPLYING FOR SEMESTER AT SEA, TOTAL COSTS, TRAVEL EXPENSES, SCHOLARSHIPS, & VACCINATIONS
All things Semester at Sea!
Hi, I'm Nena & I made this video to help out anyone who is applying or thinking about applying for SAS.
In this video I will be breaking down the cost of Semester at Sea, how to apply, and all the extra charges and fees that pop up along the way. Semester at Sea is a program that provides (mostly) college students the chance to earn up to 15 units of credit while they travel to about 11 countries in just less than 4 months on a ship call the MV World Odyssey. It is essentially the real version of The Suite Life on Deck. This is everything that I wish I knew before I started the application process. I cover everything from the cost of housing, tuition, scholarships, vaccinations, field programs, classes, travel expenses and more!
There is a lot of preparation that goes into this unique study abroad experience & I hope this helps!!
i also wrote a blog explaining every topic i cover in this video and more, so check it out here: https://www.nenashelby.com/blog/semes.... You can find more information about SAS on their website here: semesteratsea.org.
Now that I have returned from SAS, I can confirm that this experience was truly once in a lifetime and some of the best months of my life!! DM me on instagram if you have any questions :)
and yes I know that I am quiet, this was my first video I ever made lol give me some slack!
