Backpacking in the Eastern Sierra | John Muir Wilderness
After spending TOO much time in the desert, we were itching to get out in the wilderness and back into the mountains! What better way to get out there than to go backpacking! There’s still a lot of snow in the backcountry so we hiked as far as we could go in the Eastern Sierra Nevada and pitched a tent under some beautiful peaks in John Muir Wilderness. With snowy trails and chilly overnight temperatures, right now is the best time of year to go backpacking - less people and less bugs!
