Turning Oak Wood into Cookies (and a Serving Platter)
My official review of the cookies is that honestly the flavor of the oak wood had a hard time standing up to the strong flavor of the butter. There was a hint of something there, for sure, but I could've used more. Next time I think I'd either let it infuse for a lot longer, toast them even more, or maybe evne try smoke infusing the butter (though I worry they'd just taste smoky, and I want some of that classic oak wood flavor). But honestly they still slapped, so no complaints here whatsoever.
Also, look at me in the eyes and tell me that wood grain doesn't rule! I mean, come on! Look at it!
