Character Story Arataki Itto "Rise Up, Golden Soul". Unlocks after completing Chapter II Act III (Inazuma Arc) AND Sangonomiya's story via Story Key.
Katheryne of Inazuma asks the traveler to support the Tenryou Commission by capturing the Arataki Itto, a troublemaking oni, who is known for thievery with his organization called the Arataki gang. Katheryne recommends the Traveler to ask people in Inazuma City so that they can find out the oni's whereabouts. While the Traveler gets to know the original story about the red and the blue oni, they also found out that Arataki Itto should linger around on Yashiori Island.
The Traveler finally meets him and they notice that the rumors about the young oni are not really fitting, as they sense that Itto has a just and kind (maybe even childish) personality. After an onikabuto fight, the boy Daisuke, who seems to be a good friend of Itto, notices that the Traveler might want to bring the oni back to the Tenryou Commission. Itto calms Daisuke down and explains the Traveler his current situation in detail - and that the pillaging stories might not be about him but in fact the blue oni - a person which he has been searching for quite a while.
The Traveler wants to help Itto with his endeavor and encounter ronin and members of the Tenryou commission alike. They are also able to find the blue oni named Takuya, but according to the oni "rules", Takuya believes he has to live separated from humans so that the red oni can socialize in peace with them. Yet again, to survive, Takuya had to join forces with the ronin - this is where the rumors about a pillaging oni came from. Takuya flees and the Traveler and Itto do their best to get the blue oni and any captors by the ronin group back.
