Today on Mackey Tech we’re going to be setting up a dual boot of System 76’s Pop Os and Windows 11 on the Minis Forum UM890 Elite Pro.
First we’re doing an unboxing of the computer and then we’ll configure the bios to boot off a USB drive which will have an ISO of POP OS.
The Minis Forum I have has two NVME slots. One already has a 1 TB Kingston loaded with Windows 11 Pro. With the the 2nd vacant nvme slot we’ll install a Crucial 500 GB NVME ssd drive and this is where we’ll install Pop os!
⚠️ I wanted to make clear that you WILL need to disable 'Secure boot' in your BIOS when booting into PopOS!
