This USB Wifi adapter plugs into a USB-A (rectangular) port and worked out of the box with my Ubuntu Linux 22.04 system. It only supports encryption up to WPA2, so it will work with most networks, but not the highest security WPA3 networks.
It identifies as a Realtk 1200M chipset and uses the RTW-8822bu kernel module/driver.
I did not do extensive performance tests, but it was easily able to keep up with my low bandwidth DSL modem. The case is basic plastic and the rotating antennas feel inexpensive, but the electronics worked as I expected.
