WHY BHVR CAN'T BALANCE MAPS IN DEAD BY DAYLIGHT
Map balance has always been one of the most problematic aspects of Dead by Daylight, and it’s something players have been complaining about pretty much since the game first launched. Over the years, BHVR has made quite a few attempts to fix the maps, and while those changes did make things noticeably better, we still haven’t reached a point where maps could be considered truly well balanced. The reason for this is that BHVR keeps overlooking the elephant in the room and fails to address the root causes behind map imbalance, which is why the same issues continue to show up in different forms. In this video, I break down what those core issues really are and what exactly needs to be done to fix maps for good.

In case you randomly stumbled upon this video and you're wondering what this game even is, it's called Dead by Daylight. It's an asymmetric multiplayer horror game developed and published by BHVR Interactive. It's a 4v1game in which one player takes on the role of a killer and the other four play as survivors. The killer's goal is to hunt and impale each survivor on sacrificial hooks to appease a malevolent force known as the Entity.
