The Gentrification of Northcott Court (2014)
The city of Huntington, WV has been given the green light to demolish Northcott Court, a low income housing development which was first occupied in the summer of 1940. This film discusses the gentrification of Northcott Court, the disconnect between the black community and city government/police, racism, Mayor Williams, the drug epidemic in the area, and programs and ideas to improve the community.
