EVE ONLINE - Alpha NULL Exploring (day 2)
Day 2: Navigating Nullsec & Exploring Relic Sites Safely in EVE Online
In this episode, I dive into using the MAP to plan a safe route through Nullsec while hunting down Relic Sites. Nullsec exploration comes with its risks, as hunters can warp scramble you or deploy warp bubbles to catch you. Losing ships is part of the game, but with a 10 million ISK Heron fit, you can make 100+ million ISK per run, making the risk worth it!
Day 2 Rules (for Alpha Null Exploring):
1) Use a needlejack filament to enter NULL (carry extra filaments)
2) Immediately fly to a planet and create a bookmark mid warp
3) Fly to that bookmark and turn on the Sensor Booster (almost like a cloak)
4) Do not use your microwarp drive (this increases your ship's signature)
5) Scan down any cosmic signatures
6) Open up the MAP and look at "Average Pilots in Space in the Last 30 Minutes"
7) If most nearby systems are empty, then use The Agency window to select the systems with the most cosmic signatures.
8) If there are pilots in the nearby systems, pick your destination and waypoints to best avoid those systems, it's ok to run through 1 or 2 systems with a single pilot.
9) If the map is filled with 2+ pilots in most systems, wait out the 15 minutes at your bookmark and use a needlejack filament to try a different region.
10) Start jumping through your route, and scan down any signatures from a bookmark (with your Sensor Booster ON)
11) If there's 1 pilot in the system, don't jump gate to gate, first jump to a planet
12) If you see many pilots, consider flying to a bookmark, wait out the timer and use a filament.
13) Once done, you use one of the Pochven filaments, repeat steps 2 & 3, and wait out the 15 minute timer.
14) Use the Devana filament to return back to known space, map a safe path back to Jita (or other trade hub)
