Elite Dangerous - Dav's Hope mats farming
This is just the drivethrough of materials farming at Dav's Hope.

This is the basics of what I was doing. I'm putting my key bindings, just because it makes sense to me.
End each session at the same place, facing the data point.
[u] to go up to turrent
[t] target the datapoint, and [fire2] scan the datapoint. You can do it while it's rising.
Scan around at about 30 degrees up. There can be 0 to 2 NPC ships flying around. [t] Target each, and wait for the 3rd chime. They will drop encoded data sometimes.
[u] to drop back down to the SRV.
[home] Deploy cargo scoop, and start driving.
[t] Target each item, and drive over it, otherwise they won't pick up.
When you get back to where you started, log out and back in.
I do the long curvy path, so the SRV wheels don't get caught up on structures and stuff. I usually hold about 10 (km/hr? m/s?). Much faster, and the SRV may slip/spin on turns. Even at 10, the spots were there are two items to collect, you have to be quick on [t].
There are also 6 comms things to scan, to get the audio logs. You can only do them once. After you've done them, don't bother to ever even target them again. With the route shown, they don't get in the way of targeting stuff.

I did the driving with just an old Logitech Extreme3D Pro and keyboard. So anyone with almost any controls should be able to do this. Yaw controls steering. Pitch and roll control the turret. Throttle is on the keyboard.
