In this video, we focus on the removal & installation of a front differential on a 3rd Gen Toyota 4runner from East Coast Gear Supply. These differentials were purchased for two reasons. To provide a better gear ratio as the vehicle we are working on has much larger tires than what the stock gear ratio was designed for & for the air locker capability that functions from an ARB air compressor that has been installed in the engine bay. East Coast Gear Supply taps OEM differentials with a fitting to accept the air compressor lines for locking & unlocking capability.
