A brand new zero day has been published impacting services running Log4J. This is a logging service that, when exploited, leads to unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE). There are already proof of concepts (PoC) available on GitHub (linked below) and you can practice this in your homelab. You can track this exploit using CVE-2021-44228. In this video, we go over how you can protect yourself from this exploit in Minecraft and Apache, as well as what to do about Steam and iCloud.
