I managed to get inside the legendary Train for the President!
I already told you about the unique "blue train" for Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito. For many years standing abandoned and closed, the train finally got a chance to a new life.

And in honor of this, the Serbian railways made a royal gift to people in the form of an open day, where everyone could appreciate the luxury of presidential transport.
Here everything is imbued with the spirit of the times.
The train consisted of several cars: a dining car, apartments, a dining room, a kitchen, a guest lounge, as well as several wagons for servants and one car for transportation of cars.
Apartments Tito consisted of two bedrooms, a study (pictured above), a bathroom, a salon with eight chairs and a "tea" kitchen.

No wonder, because the high officials were not averse to eating well and drinking raki, and only then to discuss the state-important matters. Here is one example.
Despite the fact that the coupe was clearly inferior to the presidential ones, each of them had a bathroom and a reading table.
This car was the only one of the whole composition that could be used in normal transportation. The rest of the cars could not be used on conventional locomotives.
The interior is made in the style of art deco, and after more than half a century the appearance remained unchanged.
The train is called the "museum" everywhere on the Internet, however, in the previous blog you can see that externally it (and in particular the locomotive) is in a sad state.
And as for the locomotives that once drove the "Blue Train", then ... this is a completely different story!
