NOTE: This vlog contains strong language from the get go! So please don't watch if you're easily offended by words...
After a brief yet lengthy break from the world of YouTube and vlogging, it was time to make a come back!
We decided to check out the 'Summer Nights' at Pleasure Beach where the park is open 10am-10pm, in hopes to get a night ride on Icon. But thanks to Global Warming, night never really came. We did get some 'late' post-8pm rides on Icon though, and it didn't disappoint, the sunset just made everything even sexier.
The highlight for us however, is finally witnessing a stalled train on The Big One! And where it was stalled baffled us even more, needless to say, we were straight through that Chinese maze in 2 minutes flat to grab some geeky close-ups of this bizarre phenomena. The train was stalled on what appeared to be a 'downhill descent', however gravity wasn't on its side... Make sure to check this out later on in the vlog!
It's very rare for any coaster to stall, but this is dealt with in the safest possible manner you could imagine. It may look scary and dangerous, but it still is extremely rare that accidents are caused by stalled trains. You have more chance of getting killed on the journey to the park, than on a coaster, take note of that!
I would like to say a huge thanks to John for helping out with the intro! The poem(?) 'Choose Blackpool' was written and spoken by the legend that is John McGrellis, and is a parody of Trainspotting. This section isn't intended to offend anyone or the park, it's made for comedy purposes only (you should know we're not 100% serious by now...). Make sure to check out his channel 'John's Airtime', he is an hilarious chap and I'm sure you will love his content!
