How to connect ANY Zigbee / Z-Wave device with Homey
You can add any Zigbee &/or Z-Wave device to Homey. It's not the most user-friendly experience, and you'll need to refer to the manufacturers 'pairing instructions', but it does offer basic controls like on/off, dim-level, & color settings, along with a few simple Flow cards.
It's not our preferred or recommended way of adding a device to Homey, but sometimes there's just no alternative. With this video, you'll learn how you can connect any Zigbee or Z-wave device to Homey.
Note - Devices that send detailed information, like Sensors, can be connected, but (most likely) you won't receive any information from them. For these devices, a Homey App is required. (www.homey.app/apps)
