Opel Corsa OPC Playing With VW Golf 6 GTI
There is a speed camera for 60 kmh so we are both limited.His front bumper is about 1 to 1.5 car lengths from my back bumper.I am doing 55 kmh in 3rd Gear at about 2850 RPM.
We Both exit the speed camera zone and floor it.He got the initial jump on me and he is just behind my back bumper.If we started next to each other then he would be a car length ahead of me.We both accelerate to 120 kmh and he could not get closer to me.He was constantly just behind my back bumper.Then there is someone blocking me in my lane and it is to risky to go in front of the Golf.
I braked and went behind the Golf.Then we went into the corner and Corners Are Also Part Of Racing.(That corner can get quite bumpy and make the car go light.It is a very deceptive corner and it feels dangerous at 120 kmh.But some say that you can push to 145 kmh if you are feeling confident.Tongue.)It is one of my favorite corners to lose people in a race.Big Grin.
I accelerate full throttle after him again when he stopped braking for the corner.This was a 70 kmh to 124 kmh race.He could not pull away from me.I was about 1/2 car length behind him constantly .So close that i had to MUTE part of the video because my passenger could not stop screaming.This was about 5 seconds of full throttle and he could not pull away from me.
I had to pull of to the right and stop for some groceries and he went on his way at a very high rate of speed.I was happy with my OPC brakes minimal fuss maximum braking power with just a small squeal of tyres.Exhaust sound in the end is a 1974 2.7 Porsche 911 trying to keep up.
