Ernest P. Worrell Spots for WDBJ
In the early 1980s, Jim Varney's Ernest P. Worrell was the most successful ad pitchman on television. He was able to turn his commercial success into a movie and television career. His catchphrase "Knowhutimean" went viral. Varney's career was unfortunately cut short by his untimely death from lung cancer at the age of 50.
