Why Regular and Irregular Polygons have different angle formulas?

❖ In this video, we explain why regular and irregular polygons have different angle formulas when finding the missing interior angles.

We show how both methods actually come from the same original formula:
(n - 2) × 180°

🔹 For regular polygons, we divide the total by the number of angles:
x = sum ÷ n

🔹 For irregular polygons, we subtract the given angles from the total:
x = sum - (known angles)

Through simple examples with triangles and quadrilaterals, you'll clearly see when to divide and when to subtract.
