Venmo transaction declined - why are you getting this error message on Venmo and how to fix it?
This video is about the error message that appears on the Venmo app when people try to send money!
So the error message says that “Venmo transaction declined. Try again in a short while.”
And the problem is that even if you try to send money later, probably nothing will change!
Also it seems that sometimes this error occurs because of the too big amount of money you are trying to send! But if you lower the amount of money it doesn’t guarantee that transaction will go through!
The official Venmo recommendation on how to get rid of this error message is to call your card company and try to figure out whether the problem is on their side or not!
You should understand that Venmo doesn’t work with all types of credit cards! For example, people have troubles using AppleCard with Venmo!
Also this error could appear literally for no reason, even if earlier all was good with your Venmo account!
If that’s your case, then try to add a new bank account to Venmo and maybe it’ll work for you!
