Hey everyone, I'm Dylan Curious from Curious Future and today we're talking about how ChatGPT plugins are a game-changer for artificial intelligence. ChatGPT is an incredibly smart AI chatbot that's been making waves in the tech world, but its potential has been somewhat limited as it couldn't connect to the internet or your mobile apps. With the introduction of ChatGPT plugins, it can now pull in information from the web, which makes it even more useful.
Firstly, to get access to these plugins, you'll need to upgrade to ChatGPT 4.0, available on chat.openai.com, for $20 per month. With the plugins, you can access a range of features that were previously unavailable, like pulling in real-time updates from the web.
We'll be looking at a few of my favorite plugins today, starting with the web browsing plugin. With this, you can ask ChatGPT to look up recent events, such as last night's sports scores. Next, we have the Kayak plugin, a travel helper that pulls in data from Kayak's database to help with your travel plans.
For YouTube enthusiasts, the Video Insights plugin connects to big video platforms, allowing you to extract a summary or key points from a video transcript. Another cool plugin is Wolfram Alpha, a computation engine that can perform complex calculations in response to natural language questions.
I also want to highlight the Golden plugin, which provides factual information about companies, and the Comic Finder plugin that can help you find specific comics. Finally, the Scholar AI plugin is a fantastic tool for academic research, able to look up scientific papers and provide summaries and links.
All of these plugins transform ChatGPT from an already impressive AI chatbot into an even more powerful and versatile tool. By connecting to the internet and various apps, they greatly expand what you can do with ChatGPT, making it an AI game-changer.
