Dash components are written in JavaScript with the React.js library. React is one of the most popular front-end frameworks for creating interactive user interfaces.

In this webinar, we’ll go over how to create custom Dash components with React.js and Dash’s React-to-Python toolchain. No prior JavaScript experience is necessary.

If you’d like to familiarize yourself with React and Dash, check out the following tutorials:

This webinar was presented by Chris Parmer, co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Plotly graphs and the creator of Dash. Before Plotly, Chris worked on numerical methods for renewable and efficient power systems at GridCo and Sandia National Labs. His dual degree in EE and Mathematics from McGill is on hold because Plotly is more fun.
