Known and loved as an unofficial Seattle holiday, the Seafair Weekend Festival is one of the area’s largest boating events, air shows, and festivals all rolled into one.
The Boeing Seafair Air Show is the ultimate thrill-seeker's dream come true! From the awe-inspiring U.S. Navy Blue Angels to the world-renowned U.S. Army Golden Knights; the airshow is a showcase of some of the most elite aviation teams on the planet. And it's not just the military that gets in on the action!
The Boeing Seafair Air Show also features incredible displays by civilian pilots, vintage aircraft, and parachute demonstrations that will leave you breathless. What's more, the airshow takes place over the stunning backdrop of Lake Washington, making it an event that's as visually stunning as it is thrilling!
The action isn’t just above, it’s on the lake as well, with the H1 Unlimited hydroplane racing Apollo Mechanical Cup, where the most powerful, fast boats on the planet race head-to-head around an oval course at speeds in excess of 150 MPH!

ABOUT SEAFAIR:
Since 1950, nothing has been more synonymous with summer in Seattle than Seafair. Before the Seahawks and Mariners called Seattle home, before the 1962 World’s Fair that gave us the iconic Space Needle, Seattle celebrated Seafair. Today, the non-profit Seafair has grown into a multi-week festival with events across the Puget Sound touching more than two million people. Times may have changed since its inception, but the core values of Seafair remains dedicated to being a volunteer and community - driven festival and a catalyst for creating events and experiences that celebrate the best parts of living here.
