ECMP or Equal Cost Multi Path routing may not be as popular as it once was, but its still a topic on the NSE4 exam that we need to know! In this video I introduce you to the concept of ECMP where two routes that have the same priority, metric and destination can be active in the routing table within the Fortigate.
This provides a form of load balancing as well as some redundancy!
