This video shows the Dol starter motor wiring connection with phase voltage indicators. The DOL method of starting a squirrel cage induction 3-phase motor. the motor is connected to the full power supply voltage through a starter. The direct-on line starter consists of a coil-operated contactor C which is controlled by a start (normally open) push button switch and a stop (normally closed) push button switch.
