The Mennonites are a community that arrived in Mexico 99 years ago to settle and dedicate themselves to what they love most: working. This group came from Canada, and Chihuahua was the gateway for the first Mennonites. For a long time, they were a group that seemed isolated from the rest of the world, and in a way, they were, due to ethnic and religious reasons; they didn't mix with other social groups.
But little by little, things have changed. Today, we know more about the Mennonites thanks to social media, and in this community of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, the residents warmly welcome visitors to share their culture with the world.
