Free scan mode
Open the software, choose fixed scan, click free scan model, create a new project or import a project that created under turntable scan mode or free scan mode. Adjust the scroll bar under the preview window to adjust the exposure intensity. The method of assess the distance between turntable and table is same as turntable scan mode. Click ‘start’ to scan. You can move scanner or object to continue scan, and make sure the two scans have 1/3 common parts. In free scan mode, you can use mark point align or feature align, and paste mark points if some area has no obvious features.
