We show everything as it is: working on the land, fighting weeds, the vegetable garden, planting, the first shoots, evening watering with the whole family, conversations about life, the search for housing, current rent prices, and how difficult it is now for people forced to leave their homes. Despite everything, life goes on. We continue to work, restore, build, help each other, and believe in the best.
Today was a busy day from the very morning. Inna showed us our garden beds, the first shoots of potatoes, cucumbers, corn, herbs, and lettuce. We continued clearing the plot of weeds, dead branches, and weeds, moving everything in huge piles, tidying up the area, and preparing the land for further landscaping. We share with you not only the difficulties but also the small joys—how the peonies have bloomed, how the transplanted flowers have taken root, how the plot is coming back to life after a long period of neglect.
And in the evening, the whole family watered the garden, carried water from the river, watched nature, ducks, and swans, and simply tried to distract ourselves from our difficult thoughts. It's in moments like these that you realize how important it is to appreciate the simple things—family, support, a peaceful sky, and the opportunity to move forward.
