Binding XRefs with ETransmit - Part 1
A drawing containing xref cannot be send without binding. For example, if a plan contains a grid which is XREFED, and you send only the plan to someone, HE WON'T SEE THE GRID. But if you send the binded file, then he will see the grid as a block.
The easiest way to bind multiple xref drawing is simply by using the Etransmit method.
I have created a video demonstrating this process.
1.mp4 shows you how to save a zip file (ETransmittal) of a selected drawing. I have used dilhan's ground floor plan which contains many xrefs including grids.
2.mp4 shows you how to extract the Zip. You only need to send the dwg file of the extracted zip. If you open the file, then you can see that no XRefs are there (By using XR command)
