Hamim Tohari Djazuli, familiarly known as Gus Miek (born in Kediri, East Java, August 17, 1940 – died in Surabaya, East Java, June 5, 1993 at the age of 52) was the founder of the dhikr practices of Jama'ah Mujahadah Lailiyah, Dhikrul Ghofilin, and sema'an (listening to) the Jantiko Mantab Qur'an. He was the son of K.H. Jazuli Utsman, the head of the Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School in Ploso, Mojo, Kediri, East Java. He was renowned as a wali (beloved of Allah) who spent most of his time outside the Islamic boarding school preaching. Gus Miek was also renowned as a wali with many karomah (excellences).
