Stop acquiescing!
In some countries wearing a face mask outside is mandatory, whereas in most others it is higly recommended nowadays.
Wearing a mask becomes a symbol of what people are led to believe is a greater cause, caring for the community, helping to flatten the curve, and come out of isolation sooner rather than later.
Just like saluting Hitler once became a socially imposed norm, a universal sign that you would support the agenda and belived in greater future, or else you're against us.
Many other terrible events in history happened not because of one crazy tyrant, but because the majory have believed, and the minority couldn't have the right to say.
