Pool Renovation Episode 6: Short update on my pool renovation progress. I need to remove the old cracking plaster from the shell before applying new plaster. There's a risk the new plaster could fail if it's applied over old plaster with a weak bond to the gunite shell. Rather than paying a professional to do this portion, I took it on with my son as a DIY project. Visit my webpage at https://www.bdpgarage.com
If you are or know of a plaster contractor in the east Tennessee area, I'm looking to hire someone for that part so please message me their contact info!
Here's my video of how I repaired the cantilever pool decking that had sunk.
