Guyver 3 - Perception Camera (1996)
A weird one. I stumbled upon this album via discogs a couple years back and recently decided to try and look into it more because I found it to be interesting, as this is the only album by the artist Guyver 3.
I found little to no documentation about this album, as well as the artist and record label it was originally released on, IF? Records. I was unable to find any digital download of the album anywhere. All links were either dead or scams.
While I was researching, I found a defunct website for IF? Records, and it had a section of it dedicated to this album, along with a blurb describing it.
"The debut album from Melbourne's Scott Armstrong, and the first solo artist release for IF? Records, back in 1996. Additional production by Adam Raisbeck (Sense/Soulenoid) in the 23-minute live jam (Track #23), originally recorded on Andrez's 3PBS-FM show, 'Cyberdada', in September 1995.
Experimental, out there, and completely revolutionary stuff that was years ahead of its time—and promptly sold about 30 copies of the 500 pressed. The rest were given away, aside from copies inadvertently scratched in the "storeroom" under Andrez's bed."
