In this easy magic trick, a die apparently passes through, into a sealed bottle. This is just one version of a popular genre of magic tricks called "penetration" magic tricks.
Magic tricks involving objects passing through each other, called penetration magic tricks, are a popular form of illusionary performance. These tricks often involve the use of sleight of hand techniques and misdirection to make it appear as though objects are passing through one another. One common example is the "Linking Rings" trick, where solid metal rings appear to pass through one another and link together. Other examples include the "Penetration Frame" and the "Cups and Balls" trick. These tricks often require skill, practice, and a good amount of showmanship to pull off successfully.
