With this series on the PIC18F14K50, we anticipate using the MPLAB Code Configurator (or MCC) quite a bit. Due to that, to start with, we're going to do many of the tutorials without and then with the MCC to show the differences between the two processes. In this tutorial, we recreate the Blinky tutorial but first setup, then use, the MPLAB Code Configurator. While it may not simplify much on this simple project, as the projects become more complex, the benefits of simplicity will become more and more obvious. We hope you enjoy this microcontroller tutorial using Microchip's PIC as an example!
