That’s right, this whole month is gonna be a giant Christmas gift from me to you, where every single week we’re gonna look at a highly requested Style Study!
Today, we look at the beautiful, manga style character art of German illustrator, Lars Degenhardt, aka @Laovaan ! We study his style of painting, analyse his portraits, and apply it all to our own cool paintings.
This was mostly a study in anime proportions, semirealistic rendering, line-art and just the overall bad boy aesthetic. So if that is a style you love – or even if it’s just new to you, you will learn a lot from this tutorial!
