Here is our dancethrough and slow motion video of the Jacqueline Cha Cha. http://www.sequencedanceuk.co.uk It is an easy straightforward sequence at first glance, but there are a few foot changes that need a bit of thought - the movement back into the shoulder to shoulder includes a foot change that is easy to miss (man taps). The second foot change is at the end - but we haven't shown it very well on this video!!! We did it perfectly about 5 mins after the camera stopped rolling!!!
We always try and do a faithful version of the original arrangement (this one is from 1961), but there is a more social and achievable version of the ending where a third 'hand to hand' is taken and the final bar is a small spot turn, lady turning clockwise, man anti-clockwise to start again in shadow hold. If anyone is desperate to see this, let us know and we'll add it to the request list.
BARS 1-4 - BASIC FORWARD STEPS IN SHADOW POSITION x 4
BARS 5-8 - STEP TAPS SWIVELLING - 3 WALKS - FLICK - BACK STEP & FLICKS
BARS 9-12 - SHOULDER TO SHOULDER x 4
BARS 13-16 - HAND TO HAND x 2 - BREAKAWAY FROM PARTNER
Thanks to Shannah & Phil for the dancethrough and Barry for excellent camera duties as always :)
