Porth Joke Beach - Beaches of Cornwall
Also known as Polly Joke Beach, it's local name, Porth Joke Beach is a long and beautiful beach in between the headlands of West Pentire, which boarders the beach from the Gannel Estuary, and Kelsey Head, which boarders the beach from the much more famous Holywell Bay, made more famous in recent times as one of the main filming locations of the TV series 'Poldark'.
The beach is worth a visit and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. In early Summer, there are fields of poppies at West Pentire which need to be passed through to get to the beach from the West Pentire direction.
