Adblock is a classic double edge sword of the internet. As a consumer, It helps save computing power, blocks you from third party trackers and prevents nasty malwares from infecting your computer. On the other hand, as a publisher, it cuts off your only stream of income, if ads on your page aren’t being shown, you won’t be able to fund yourself to produce free content.
