Wild Camping at the Secret Pond | Camping by a Lake | Testing Summer Camping Gear | Revolution Race
This week I met up with Camping buddy Warren from Linleys 360 / @linleys for a wild camp next to a hidden pond, located in Hampshire we had to fight through stinging nettles as tall as me but it was well worth it as the Pond looked beautiful, we pitched tents on the edge and spent the evening chilling, chatting and having a beer.
I used the Naturehike Cloud up 2 and Warren was in a Vango Soul 200.
I cooked Thai Red Curry and late on we lit my twig stove to help keep the bugs at bay. We were serenaded by a bizarre frog cal all evening and I made it my goal to try and catch Simon film.
While this was primarily a relaxing camping trip I was there to test a few bits of new gear.
