Space Engineers - Emergency Launch System
I build a Apollo like Module.
In this process i start with the Command Module, The Service Module and the Launch Escape System tower.
For the moment LES Tower are build set and tested (in this video).
Command Module are build, but need some tuning (like seeing in the video) and the deadly reentry test.
Service Module are build and usable, but need some reengineering.
In this test, LES + CM weigth 140T.
4 LES thrusters pushup for 1.6MN, so 160T of lift.
In this configuration, it's so far away of the 14/17G made by a LES or SAS (soyouz escape system).
For Apollo, the LES tower weight 4.2T and CM 5.6T, total 9.8T, for a thrust power of 69T.
My Modules are so larger. Deal with it...
The goal of the project is, a complet Saturn V.
The more I think about it, the more it makes me mad...
I need power, moooore power!!!!!!
