Why CS2 Feels Terrible on Steam Deck (And the Fix)
Counter-Strike 2 on Steam Deck feels bad out of the box — and it’s not because the hardware can’t handle it.
The default controller layout is missing key inputs, ignores Steam Deck features, and makes joystick gameplay feel stiff and inaccurate. But with a few changes, CS2 becomes surprisingly playable without a keyboard or mouse.
