December Recap: Okpik Training and Pre-Season
On December 4th I made my way back up north to begin my contract working as a musher for Northern Tier's cold weather camping program, Okpik. This videos include snippets from musher training at the Chilly Dogs kennel, time off, random moments on base, okpik staff training, and ends with some video I took while leading a 3-day, pre-season winter trek.
