The trip begins in the Guatemalan town of Tecum Uman, located just across the Suchiate River, which separates it from Mexico. Every year, around 350,000 illegal immigrants undertake the dangerous journey of this river. A real ordeal begins for them, at the end of which perhaps only the luckiest will manage to enter the territory of the United States. The cost of this trip can reach 10,000 dollars. Fear is omnipresent, it reigns everywhere: fear of the authorities, of the corrupt police, as well as of the gangs that control access to the trains.
