Bart Ehrman's Worst Argument Against the Virgin Birth
A favorite argument of skeptics is that there's scant mention of the virgin birth in the New Testament. Only Matthew and Luke tell us about it. We're often told by biblical critics that our earliest sources for Jesus (Paul and Mark) are silent about it. But does the argument from Paul or Mark's silence actually work? No. There are multiple examples in history that show the argument from silence very often fails. The argument from silence is often a lame attempt to create contradictions where there are none.
